My battery's power level is critical

Once you receive a critical-battery alert on your smartphone or in your Roost app, you may only have a short time to change your battery before it stops checking in with the Roost Cloud. This is so that it can save power for continuing to power your alarm. To make sure you don't hear low-battery chirps, you need to replace your battery quickly. You can purchase a Roost Battery Replacement.

If your battery is still under warranty, please contact Roost Customer Support.

Once you receive the battery replacement, remove the Roost Smart Battery from your smoke alarm. Then disconnect the smart module from the bottom of your old battery and attach it to the new Battery Replacement. Reinstall the new battery (with the smart module attached) in your smoke alarm. Please test your new Smart Battery by pressing "test" on your smoke alarm. You should hear your smoke alarm sound and receive a notification in your Roost app. If you do not receive a notification, please contact Roost Support.
