How do I change the location or name of my Roost device?

Changing the name or location of your Roost device can be done in your Roost app.

Once you have opened your app and see your home screen, simply tap on the device "tile" (the big white tile with your device name, Wi-Fi signal strength, battery level, etc.) that you would like to change to get the device menu. Then tap "Change Location/Name".

You can then select from a number of locations. Once you've selected the correct location, you will be given a choice of location names.

  

If you wish to enter your own location or device name, please tap "Custom Location" or "Custom Name".

For your safety, we recommend that your Smart Device's name matches the location where you installed it.
