How do I add my Smart Device to a new location if I physically move it to another area?

If you move your Roost Smart Device from one location to another within your home and it is on the same Wi-Fi network, you can simply rename your Smart Device location.

If you'd like to move your Smart Device to another location with a different Wi-Fi network, simply take the device to the new location and set it up within proximity of the new Wi-Fi network as if it were a new Device.

To set up a new device, on the home screen of the Roost App, tap the + button at the bottom of the screen. Go through the same setup steps and connect to the new Wi-Fi network.
