When you pull the clear tab out of your Smart Battery during installation, it should play a single beep to indicate that the Smart Battery is ready to set up.
If you do not hear this beep, please remove the bottom Smart Module. The Smart Module is the small rectangular piece opposite the battery's silver power terminals. Wait 5 seconds. Replace the Smart Module feeling it snap in place. You should hear a single beep.
If you do not hear a single beep, try to go through the normal setup process in the Roost app as if the beep had sounded. If the setup process does not continue to a successful connection after this initial setup attempt, Please contact our customer support team.
