My setup says incomplete

If you installed your battery, but see a message in your app that says "Set up incomplete" two things may have happened.

  • You may have moved out of Wi-Fi range after you set up your battery
  • Your set up may not have completed correctly

Please move closer to your Wi-Fi access point, and follow these steps:

1. Delete the battery from your Roost Account

2. Proceed with the set up again, making sure you see the message "Set up complete" and hear only one tone.

Please leave your battery where you set it up until you see the green check mark in the Roost app next to your battery.

You may then install your Roost battery in the alarm, making sure you have adequate Wi-Fi signal at the alarm location.
